“But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.”

The Way of Christ is offered by invitation to friends and family of members of the Way of Christ or other Cursillo weekends who have previously attended a weekend. Your sponsor is a very key ingredient to the success that follows your weekend and is therefore required in order to participate in ANY Cursillo type weekend.

The Way of Christ community is larger than you can imagine and you might even be surprised if you asked people in your church whether they have attended a Way of Christ or Cursillo weekend to find out that they have. They will know what to do if you are interested and will ensure that you find a way to attend the very next Way of Christ weekend.

Another aspect of your attendance is ensuring that your pastor knows your plan to attend. There is a space on the application for him or her to sign and an area on the back of the application for them to read. Our goal is to strengthen the lay leadership in a church, not convert or convince pilgrims to move away from their present affiliations; rather it calls them to walk with Christ in their present environments.

Our weekends currently are held at Menno Haven Camp & Retreat Center located in Tiskilwa, IL. The Way of Christ weekends have been held here through all 35 sets of weekends.

To apply to attend a future Way of Christ weekend, please fill out the application below and give it to your sponsor fully completed, including your pastor’s signature and a representative from the Way of Christ will reach out to you at an appropriate time with further details about your attendance.
